How To Print

What was your creative process?
We started by outlining about six steps, which were featured in the video. We then had to decide what each of these steps would look like (i.e. how they were to be carried out, camera angles, etc.). Once we had everything we needed, we had Cain Meyer, our actor, act it all out while we filmed each scene. Many scenes had to be redone.
Who did what?
Cain Meyers was out actor, as previously stated, Jenna Lindsey was our story boarder, and Sean Slicer and I filmed everything. We all were involved in the entire process, and critiquing our work. For my first video project, I learned a lot about filming and editing.
What did you use?
We used school iPads to film and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit. The computer and printer in the video were just that, school computers and printer.
What about the five guarantees?
We learned our Technical Skills somewhat on the fly, having some previous knowledge of how to use the camera and editor, but no real world experience. We used Communication to discuss ideas, concepts, flaws, and anything else we needed to.
For Leadership, Sean ran things behind the scenes, instructing us on what to do when we got lost, or weren't working fast enough. We had to Collaborate ideas to come up with our sequence, and to film what we needed (and more). Lastly, we used Project Management to keep on schedule after a few setbacks, and we came out with a relatively smooth video in comparison to the chaos that always takes place behind the scenes.
If you had to do this again, how would you make it the same/different?
Personally, I would have worked on my editing skills, and try to get smoother cuts and better acting (not that there was anything wrong with our actor). However, I liked the music and concept behind our video.
What did you learn that could help you with your next project?
I learned better filming skills, and how to use Premiere Pro better. I also have a better understanding of how the entire process goes, so it won't be as touch and go.

Overall, for this groups very first video, doing many new things we haven't tried before (except printing, we have done that before), I am happy with how it came out. If I ever get the chance to do this again, I will be thankful for what I've learned and will always try to improve.
