Final Project

For finals, we finished our final project (fitting name). We created a website using Dreamweaver about ourselves and our projects so far. Overview and Processes      We started by making our home page, with some information about us and important links. We had to write everything, then bit by bit, format is. Every little detail took great care. We changed colors, fonts, positions, headings, and more. It took about a week, but it's finished. It was interesting to work with Dreamweaver, as you could see the code and the design simultaneously, and I have not spent much time looking at code before. What did you learn?       I learned more about how basic code works, and how to use Dreamweaver in general. Dreamweaver really will weave your dreams to life if you now how to use it. The Heist

    Sadly, out third E-Comm video project is coming to an end. This video was the most fun to shoot and edit out of all three, and it was worth it.     For this project, we had to learn the art of the chase scene. Essentially, one character had to chase another, they had to have a reason, and a winner at the end.     In our video, we had a no good thief steal a priceless artifact, and the chase ensues! We had to shoot this over the span of two days, and it was interesting as many things went awry. Besides falling over, flying artifacts, and more, we had our hands full.     Ethan McCulloch was our security guard, Katie Barry was our second guard, and I was the theif. Lastly, Steven Parker ran things behind the scenes. In the end, it was worth it as we produced this chase scene: The Heist. We hope you enjoy it!

Late to Class

    We recently finished our second project in Video: the AB sequence. We were supposed to design, shoot, and edit a video with some sort of rush, going from point A to point B with obstacles. My group's idea was for our actor to be late to class.     Shooting the video was interesting as we had to keep the action going in one direction without changing the camera's placement in correlation with the actor. When it came to the obstacles, it was a challenge to shoot as the hallways we shot in were large and hard to completely block up. In the end, we came out with a somewhat goofy sequence of random challenges.     Our main actor was Andrew Beckwith, but we also had Regan Funkhouser join. Ethan McCulloch did most of the camera work. Overall, it was an interesting challenge and definitely different from the 6-shot video.   

How To Print

What was your creative process?     We started by outlining about six steps, which were featured in the video. We then had to decide what each of these steps would look like (i.e. how they were to be carried out, camera angles, etc.). Once we had everything we needed, we had Cain Meyer, our actor, act it all out while we filmed each scene. Many scenes had to be redone. Who did what?     Cain Meyers was out actor, as previously stated, Jenna Lindsey was our story boarder, and Sean Slicer and I filmed everything. We all were involved in the entire process, and critiquing our work. For my first video project, I learned a lot about filming and editing. What did you use?     We used school iPads to film and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit. The computer and printer in the video were just that, school computers and printer. Houses

     Our most recent project in my E-Comm class has been using the program Sketch-Up. We were tasked with finding a house on houseplas.com and turning it into a 3-D model on Sketch-Up. This is the house I used: https://www.houseplans.com/plan/2176-square-feet-2-bedrooms-2-bathroom-country-house-plans-0-garage-36032      We started with the outline of the house, and added the roof, windows, etc. When we were fully done with creating it, we went and found seamless textures to color it how it's supposed to look. (As in wooding siding, or shingles for roofing.) Here are the three textures I used.      O nce we finished with designs and colors, we chose at least six different angles to view the house, and creating a small animation by putting them together. Anna's 10 Words

        This was my first animation so far, so I'm kind of proud. Sure, it's not much, but will you win a marathon the first time you run the track? I hope to be doing more interesting things in the future, not that I'm implying this wasn't interesting.          These are my ten words. Basically, some of the best ten words to describe me. I picked several words like 'creative,' 'writer,' and 'artistic,' because I love to write fiction and draw a lot. I also can be a little energetic sometimes, hence 'energetic,' 'excitable,' and 'crazy.' I can also be 'serious' and realistic when I want to be. Lastly, I am (somewhat) school-smart and I try to be kind to everyone.          I hope these ten words helped you to get to know me a little better, as people can be very complex, and one or two stereotypes just don't cover it.         I hope you all have a great day!
